Excel Co-op partners Lagos to organize 1-day training for farmers

Excel Multipurpose Cooperative Society, in conjunction with the Lagos State government is organising a one-day intensive training programme on March 15, 2017 for existing and aspiring farmers in a bid to contribute its quota to the emergence of more agricultural entrepreneurs in the country.

The training, powered by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Lagos Province 4; 47 and 48, the Lagos State government, Legacy, and others, is designed to equip participants with the necessary and updated information that can make their farming business profitable.

Organized under the theme of “Stop Farming Because Others Are Farming,” the training will cover agro processing, vegetable crop, poultry, understanding government agricultural policies, farm economic management, structure, accounting, processing, and the role of technology in agribusiness, among others.





The programme will start at 9:00 a.m. and end by 4:00 p.m. at the RCCG, the Promised Land, Hi-tech Road, beside Lagos Business School, Ajah. Participants are required to register with Excel Multipurpose Cooperative Society.
